Is space-time fictitious?
There is at least one pragmatic answer... read with attention or not at all!

We are living in motion and not in time!
As the fabric of the universe, motion is far more credible than space time curvature is.

An analogy for space time curvature.

Space-time curvature may be compared to the curvature of a trampoline in the middle of which a child just landed.
In this analogy the sun creates a curvature of space-time just as the child stretches the trampoline’s fabric.
Then the earth is deviated by the curvature of space-time, as a marble would be by the curvature of the trampoline around the child.

Even though colorful that analogy is unsatisfactory.

Whereas the trampoline's fabric, which is material, is in contact with both child and marble, the curvature of space time is not material and nothing is in contact with both sun and earth!
The alleged space time, let alone its curvature are far from playing the material role of the trampoline's fabric and its curvature.
We cannot imagine how space and time can be curved by the sun's mass and furthemore how this alleged curvature could grab and deviate earth's mass!

Gravimotion as an alternative to space time curvature

In the gravimotion interpretation of Nature we make abstraction of both sun and earth masses and we focus on the motion of earth.
In that interpretation motion occurs and is real.
Motion is a separate entity from the mass it moves.
Motion is an entity of its own.
Now please keep in mind that motion is a real phenomenon.
  1. Because free fall is motion, gravitation is motion in gravimotion's interpretation of Nature!
    Motion, replaces Newton's force of gravity in gravimotion's interpretation of Nature.
    And motion, replaces Einstein's idea of space time curvature as well.
    Even though that sounds childish motion is what makes objects fall!
  2. First a basic model that is a geometrical illustration of the essence of motion is provided (in the book advertised below).
  3. Then since gravitation is made of motion, the gravitation surrounding any object is sketched out of the basic model of motion.
    It turns out that the gravitation (or Einstein space-time curvature) surrounding any celestial object such as the Sun or Earth, when formatted out of the basic model of motion, maintains that object at absolute rest, provided that object is isolated in space.

  4. But the Sun and Earth's respective gravitations (or their space time curvatures) are not isolated! They do overlap.

    This new interpretation of Nature, namely gravimotion , departs greatly from physics in that the gravitation surrounding the sun interacts with the gravitation surrounding earth, and not with earth's mass as chosen in physics!
    In terms of Einstein ideas of space-time and curvature, yet departing greatly from Einstein interpretation, the sun's induced space-time-curvature interacts with earth's own induced space-time-curvature, and not with earth' mass.

  5. Space-time curvature In that interaction, the sun's gravitation (or Einstein's space-time curvature) while overlapping earth's gravitation (or space-time curvature) throws the latter out of equilibrium, turning it into gravimotion or motion!
    The very gravitation (or space time curvature) surrounding earth is turned into its very own motion! Again in the book very simple sketches, involving motion's basic model only, describe the interaction.
  6. A particular aspect of gravimotion is that the masses of sun and earth are not involved!
    And they cannot! In gravimotion our human concept of mass doesn't exist.
    Evidently that opens up a bunch of questions, concerning matter for instance, all judiciously answered in the book advertised here.
  7. Another specific aspect of gravimotion is that the fabric of the Universe is made of motion not of space time curvature!
    And that means that we are living in motion rather than in time (and space)!

Why would one replace space, time (and Einstein's space-time) with motion?

Motion is physical in the sense that one can see the happening or the occurrence of motion, even feel it!
One neither sees space nor time, let alone the curvature of space time.
All in all this author favors to base its own description of the universe on the tangible entity of motion rather than on hypothetical space, time and their alleged curvature!
Or, which is the same, as the fabric of the universe, motion is by far more credible, so to speak, than space and time are...

Claiming the Universe is motion may appear to you preposterous.
Yet space and time, in essence traditional, having furthermore no physical collateral in reality, are even more deceptive!
Once converted to the idea you'll find it astonishingly realistic!
Simply stated the Universe is not made of a static fabric in expansion. The Universe is happening under the phenomenon of motion!
Now get in tune with the Universe... get in motion! Plunge yourself in the book above, forget about time, discover a new awesome interpretation of Nature!
